The first novel of the series, "Floater," has been adapted into a movie script and a shot-by-shot storyboard.

Booth People
Comedy | Behind the scenes at a convention exhibit hall, "booth people" scheme to rig a drawing to win a car. Meanwhile, one of the tech vendors is selling a switcher that can take over the internet. Back-to-nature protesters storm the hall, and chaos reigns.
This comedy screenplay was co-authored by John Arthur Neal and Kevin J. Morton, who staffed booths at conventions twice a year when they worked together for a national network. |
Headlock
Drama | Doug is a dyslexic college wrestler being tutored by the coach's niece, Rachel, an incest victim. Doug gives her the courage to confront her abuser (the coach), and Rachel teaches Doug that he has true value despite his shame about his "defective brain." |
The Test of Time
Near-future Social Science Fiction | A rural commune is threatened by the construction of a monorail between Atlanta and Columbus, Georgia. To draw attention to their plight, the community secedes from the USA. Others follow suit to avoid paying taxes, causing political ripples all the way to the President's office. A mutually beneficial compromise results. |
Mars Material
Science Fiction | Six nations and coalitions launch missions to Mars at the same time. Because the senior NASA astronauts are killed by a terrorist bomb, a young woman med student ends up being the crew's doctor. In addition to the natural perils--radiation, iron poisoning, depressuration, treacherous landscape--she deals with a birth and life-threatening battle wounds as the six teams fight over vital supplies. Through her love for a member of the Japanese team, she promotes cooperation so all may survive. |
Clone Rebel
Science Fiction | An eighteen-year-old member of the most ruthless female clone clan falls in love with a singleton who was raised on Vesta, the second largest asteroid. Their Romeo-and-Juliet tryst jeopardizes the clan's attempt at global mind control. |
Time Tracks
Science Fiction | A time traveler takes six trips into the future and one (as a non-physical entity) to ancient Crete. He becomes embroiled in a war between humans and dolphins over the destruction of the oceans. In addition, he champions against the abuse of "wirehead" slaves with computerized brain implants. Human militaries, augmented by satellite surveillance, decimates cetacean populations. He gives a DNA-altering tool to the dolphins which enables them to grow hands to make weapons to defend themselves. His love and respect for cetaceans averts their extinction despite his guilt over betraying his own species. |

HOME - ABOUT - PAST PROJECTS - CONTACT | An idealistic sand sculptor is seduced by a beautiful suntan lotion model who wants to make holograms of his artwork (shot in 3-D) to keep it from being swept away by the tides. The wealth and fame generated by their enterprise--and a reclining nude statue he made of her--destroy their relationship. At the end, forgiveness heals them and they reunite. (Get out your hankies.) |
